Meetings
Each year HUPO and its associated regional and national proteomic associations sponsor numerous seminars, congresses, workshops and symposia. On an international scale, there is an Annual World Congress, and bi-annual Scientific Initiatives Workshops.

- The 7th HUPO World Congress will be held in the city of Amsterdam, Netherlands, during August 16th-20th, 2008; the congress will be organized by Drs. Albert Heck, Anne-Claude Gavin, and Ruedi Aebersold.
- The 8th HUPO World Congress will be held in the city of Toronto, Canada, during September 26th-30th, 2009; the congress will be organized by Drs. Peter Liu, Michael Siu, and Peipei Ping.
- The 9th HUPO World Congress will be held in the city of Sydney, Australia, during September 19th-24th, 2010; the congress will be organized by Drs. Mark Baker, Ian Smith, Marc Wilkins.
- The 10th HUPO World Congress will be held in the city of Geneva, Switzerland, during September 3rd-7th, 2011; the congress will be organized by Drs. Jean-Charles Sanchez, Luca Bini and Denis Hochstrasser.
