Position title: Post doc scholarship in Proteomics and Erythropoiesis

Summary of position: The the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Lund University is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious postdoctoral fellow to join a cross-disciplinary team at the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Lund University, Sweden. The project is a joint project between the research groups of Jenny Hansson (PhD), Kenichi Miharada (PhD), Martin L. Olsson (MD, PhD, Prof.) and Johan Flygare (MD, PhD).
The overall aim of the research project is to identify yet unknown key regulators of red blood cell production by dissecting the local environment in which early erythropoiesis occurs. The specific focus of the position described herein is to use cutting-edge mass-spectrometry based proteomics approaches to identify the regulators active in the erythropoietic niches.
The world-renowned blood and stem cell research environment at the Department of Laboratory Medicine includes the Lund Stem Cell Center with close interactions between around 150 researchers with a focus on stem cell biology of the blood and nervous system. The candidate will be an active part of a stimulating and highly interactive international research environment.
