Early Career Researcher (ECR) Opportunities
1. Manuscript Competition – Deadline: March 27, 2026nb
Celebrate the 12th anniversary of the ECR Manuscript Competition, sponsored by Taylor & Francis. Three finalists will present their work in a dedicated plenary session at HUPO 2026, with the expert committee selecting the “Proteomics Highlight of the Year” by an ECR.
2. 3-Minute Thesis Competition – Deadline: April 24, 2026
Open to Ph.D. students who have not defended at the time of application. Present your research in 3 minutes, one static slide, for a general audience. Cash prizes: USD 500 (winner), USD 300 (two runners-up).
3. ECR Poster Competition – Deadline: April 24, 2026
For Master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral trainees. Pre-selected posters will be judged during HUPO 2026, with cash prizes awarded for winners and runners-up.
